Hi, I'm Julia Perry, an educator, mom, wife & Professional Master of Education student at Queen's University. I love fitness, basketball and spending time with my family and friends. Welcome to my inquiry project which details my personal journey in self-regulated learning, through the active pursuit of bench-pressing 100 lbs for my PME: 800 Self-Regulated Learning class.
Distal Goal: I will barbell bench press 100 lbs by March 10, 2019, following Canadian Power-lifting Union rules
- I am motivated to give my best effort to achieve this goal and learn the Canadian Powerlifting Union rules. This goal will be a stepping stone towards participating in a Powerlifting Competition (squat, bench press & deadlift).
